As the indivisible core of this emerging concept, ILTS Liver Transplant Oncology SIG welcomes you to join the interactive discussions on liver transplantation for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and colorectal liver metastases (CRLM), currently the two most common liver tumors.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n This webinar is organized by the Liver Transplant Oncology SIG.<\/p>\n To discuss:<\/p>\n Agenda:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n Speakers<\/strong><\/p>\n Pr Adam\u2019s main fields of activity and research are surgery of the liver, biliary tract and pancreas, and hepatic transplantation. He chairs the European Liver Transplant Registry and the international Registry of Colorectal Liver Metastases, LiverMetsurvey that he founded in 2005.\u00a0 He is member of the board of the European Liver and Intestine Transplant Association (ELITA), and of the board of the French Association of Surgery. He is also Chair of the Research committee of the IHPBA and member of several international societies, including ASCO, ESSO and ESOT.<\/p>\n Pr Adam has published 410 peer-reviewed articles with a PubMed H-index of 78 and more than 25000 citations to date.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n <\/p>\n Moderators<\/strong><\/p>\n For the last 10 years Dr Dopazo has been strongly involved in HPB surgical oncology and she is currently Consultant surgeon at the Department of Haepato-Pancreato-Bilio Surgery and Liver Transplant at Hospital Vall d\u2019Hebr\u00f3n in Barcelona.<\/p>\n Dr Dopazo\u2019s main commitments are liver transplantation, colorectal liver met resections and pancreatic cancer. Research and academics are also an important area of interest for her.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n <\/p>\n ILTS would like to thank Bridge to Life for their generous support for the production of this webinar. He is board certified in general surgery, vascular surgery and transplant surgery and is senior consultant surgeon within the fields of abdominal transplantation (liver, kidney, pancreas), HPB surgery and vascular surgery. Since 2004 he has been director at the Department of Transplantation Medicine, Oslo University Hospital. He has a particular clinical and scientific experience and interest within the fields of living donation, abdominal vascular disease, liver transplantation for malignancy and hepatocellular carcinoma. <\/td>\nRen\u00e9 Adam<\/b> is Head of the Department of Hepato-Biliary Surgery, Cancer and Transplantation at Paul Brousse Hospital, Villejuif, France. Since 1994, he has held the position of Professor of Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine at Paris South University, Paris.<\/p>\n \n\n

<\/td>\nC<\/span><\/strong>ristina Dopazo<\/strong> trained at Hospital Vall d\u2019Hebr\u00f3n in Barcelona (Spain) and obtained her degree of PhD in 2007.<\/span><\/p>\n \n ![\"\"](\"https:\/\/wp-ilts-media.s3.amazonaws.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/14145051\/Taizo-Hibi.jpg\")
<\/td>\nTaizo Hibi<\/strong>\u00a0is the Professor and Chairman of the Department of Transplantation and Pediatric Surgery, Kumamoto University (Kumamoto, Japan). He graduated from Keio University (Tokyo) and completed his surgical residency and fellowships at National Cancer Center Hospital (Tokyo) and Keio University, and University of Miami (Florida, U.S.)\u00a0Dr. Hibi has extensive experience both in abdominal organ transplant surgery and surgical oncology, particularly in the hepatobiliary and pancreatic field. He and his international colleagues have established the concept of \u201cTransplant Oncology,\u201d a fusion of transplantation medicine and oncology, for eradication of cancer.\u00a0Dr. Hibi has published over 150 peer-reviewed articles. He serves as an editorial board member of internationally\u00a0recognized surgical journals and as a councilor of multiple national\/international academic\u00a0associations and societies.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n \n ![\"\"](\"https:\/\/wp-ilts-media.s3.amazonaws.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/22153013\/Gonzalo-Sapisochin-scaled.jpeg\")
<\/td>\nGonzalo Sapisochin<\/span><\/strong>, MD, PhD, MSc, is an Associate Professor in the Division of General Surgery at UHN in the Department of Surgery. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span>He graduated with his Medical Degree from the University Compluense of Madrid, Spain and then did his residency at the Vall d<\/span>\u2019<\/span>Hebron Hospital in Barcelona, Spain.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span> His Fellowship in Abdominal Transplant and HPB Surgical Oncology was done at U of T, Toronto General Hospital.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Gonzalo has many publications and grants; has won several awards; and has presented at international meetings. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n This Webinar is Supported by Bridge to Life<\/h4>\n
