6th ELITA International Split-liver Course<\/strong><\/p>\n

This split-liver course aims at surgeons who have already practical experience with liver transplantation and who wish to acquire the knowledge and skills to perform split-liver transplantation safely.<\/p>\n

<\/div><\/p><\/div>\n

This course starts with a theoretical part which covers anatomy, physiology, strategies and organizational aspects. The practical session is strictly limited to 40 participants and offers hands-on training on human livers by world-renowned specialists on a two to one basis.<\/p>\n

<\/div><\/p><\/div>\n

The split-liver course was positioned in the days before the IHPBA congress in Geneva in order to allow participants to save on traveling time and costs (Ghent is only 30 min by train from Brussels). Admittance is on a first-come-first-serve basis.<\/p>\n
