The world renowned leaders in this field will share their insights and updated evidence and recommendations for transplant oncology involving advanced HCC and neuroendocrine liver metastasis.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Come join us at the ILTS REAL Webinar (For Southeast Asian and South Asian region)!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Objectives<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>The Regional Expansion Advanced Learning project is an initiative by the ILTS Education Committee to reach out to the regions of Southeast Asia and South Asia and its surrounding regions through education activities. Through educational events such as the REAL webinars, we will be inviting eminent speakers in the field of liver transplantation to share their experience with the liver transplant community in the Southeast Asian and South Asian region, with the hope to enhance the partnership with the local LT community to build knowledge and skills in this area.<\/p>\n<p>We also hope to create communication channels for members from the region to connect with one another through the ILTS REAL program. He was Chair of the Vanguard Committee, and currently a member of the Education and Scholarship Committee, and Development Committee of the ILTS. Dr. Bhangui\u2019s areas of research include hepatocellular carcinoma, colorectal liver metastases, and living donor liver transplantation. He graduated cum laude at the University of Turin (Italy) and was trained and board certificated cum laude in General Surgery and in Oncology at the University of Milan (Italy) and in Liver Surgery and Transplantation at the University of Pittsburgh (USA). From the early nineties he has developed several successful clinical and experimental projects in liver oncology and transplantation and leaded research and clinical projects focused on innovative approaches to liver diseases, particularly related to cancer. He also worked as a visiting faculty in Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Centre, Harvard Medical School, Boston in 2010. He was conferred the Doctor of Medicine from the University of Hong Kong in 2012. His main research interests are gastrointestinal oncology, early phase clinical trials and translational research. He had published more than 100 peer-review publications with articles in various leading oncology journals, namely Cell Stem Cell, Lancet Oncology, Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Clinical Cancer Research, Oncologist and Cancer. He had also delivered more than 100 invited regional and international lectures. He currently serves as associate editor and the editorial board members of many international peer-reviewed journals. She became Assistant Professor in the department of Hepatology at the University of Paris VII (h\u00f4pital Beaujon) in 2004. She is currently responsible of the Liver Intensive Care Unit and Transplant program in the same department. She has been a research fellow for three years in the laboratory of Dr. Richard Moreau (INSERM CRB3-Paris VII) working on renal dysfunction in patients with cirrhosis and earned her Doctoral degree in Cellular Physiology and Pathophysiology from the University of Paris VII in 2014. Her main research interests focus on acute liver failure and decompensated cirrhosis, particularly renal failure. She has published more than 90 papers in international peer review journals.
