The Regional Expansion Advanced Learning (REAL)<\/a> project is an initiative by the ILTS Education Committee to reach out to the African region through educational activities. Through educational events such as the REAL webinars, we will be inviting eminent speakers in the field of liver transplantation to share their experience with the liver transplant community in the African region, with the hope to enhance the partnership with the local LT community to build knowledge and skills in this area.<\/p>\n

Objectives<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

  • To increase the awareness on liver transplantation activities in Africa and to encourage healthcare workers in different specialties related to LTX to join different ILTS ACTIVITIES\/ILTS membership<\/li>\n
  • To reach out to areas in need of LT development through educational activities<\/li>\n
  • To put the spotlight on peculiar medical challenges in the continent (e.g. HIV, TB, Malaria, HBV, and HCV)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
